OK Stickers answers real questions about materials, finishes, design, printing, application, care and buying decisions. The goal is straightforward: help makers, artists, designers, event planners and small businesses choose confidently, without making a sticker decision feel like a graduate seminar.

How we choose and research topics

We focus on questions that change what readers should buy, design or do. That includes choosing between paper and vinyl, preparing artwork for print, matching an adhesive to a surface, comparing finishes and helping a sticker hold up in its intended environment.

Our research favors current manufacturer specifications, standards bodies, reliable technical references and relevant first-party product information. When discussing a current product feature, we consult the product’s published information. For materials, adhesives, inks, color and production methods, we favor primary technical documentation where it is available.

Evidence, examples and recommendations

We separate documented facts from editorial judgment. Technical claims should rest on relevant sources; recommendations explain the intended use, the important tradeoffs and what readers should verify for their own project.

Comparisons look at how a material or method performs in context, not merely which option has the loudest product description. We distinguish material from finish, price from value, and general capability from suitability for a particular surface or environment. Practical examples make technical information easier to use, but they do not replace evidence. A glossy product description is not a weather test.

Accuracy and updates

We check factual details and current claims against the most relevant available information before publishing. Articles are refreshed as specifications, products or established guidance change. We also correct material errors that could affect a reader’s understanding or decision. Tiny punctuation disputes may continue living their dramatic little lives.

Suggest a correction

If you spot an inaccurate statement, outdated specification or unclear explanation, please use our contact page or email contact@okstickers.com. Include the page title, the passage in question and any supporting source that may help us assess the issue.
